It may be the dust being thrown about as the Progressives spiral downward, or it might be the smoke clogging our summer skies thanks to Canadian wildfires. But the Democrats are definitely caught in the fog and missing an incredible show. President Donald Trump is presenting a Masterclass in how to run the Executive Branch of the United States Government. Still, he cannot get the attention of the Dems, and certainly not any credit.
Donald Trump nailed it at the State of the Union address in February, when he said that he could cure cancer and the Democrats would find fault with his process rather than cheer the accomplishment. Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is real and is suffered by half the country. Probably the most significant cause of the divide, which has become a defining component of America in the 21st century, is the man behind the resolute desk. The best thing to happen to Trump was not to win reelection in 2020. If he had done so, the Pandemic, court cases, and constant threats of impeachment would have gridlocked the government, setting Trump up for failure. Instead, the country felt the impact of the alternatives to Trump. We saw our economy, sovereignty, security, and even our core values shaken to the point of turning our democracy over to Socialists and Communists. The country was ready for Donald Trump after the Biden/Harris fiasco, and Donald Trump was prepared for the country.
Trump went to school on the mistakes of the first term and had his agenda and the people to implement it, ready to get to work the minute the election was called in his favor. He is a man on a mission with a four-year window to fulfill his promise to Make America Great Again, and his actions are in sync with his promise.
Trump is not only proactive in getting the Big Beautiful Bill passed, which will make the middle-class tax cuts permanent and give incentives to bring businesses back to America, but he is also getting government out of the way of progress by eliminating thousands of unnecessary regulations that forced firms to look overseas in the first place.
Trump is showing his commitment to world peace by having his team negotiate six conflict-ending agreements in the first six months of this administration. He will meet next week with Putin and hopefully close the deal to end the Russia/Ukraine war that never should have started.
He secured our borders in the blink of an eye and is flushing the country of the thousands of convicted threats to Americans let in by Joe Biden and his Border Welcome Wagon, Kamala Harris. Trump did overnight what Biden said was impossible to do.
Trump has reestablished our place as the leader of the free world. He finished the job he started with NATO to get them to start paying for their protection, but for protecting each other. He has restored respect in the eyes of the world. A world that respects America will not threaten America.
Maybe most importantly for our future, he is exposing the bias and complicity of the American media and helping it to self-destruct. The media is the existential threat that it has claimed of the Right, and he is going after the members of the “Deep State,” who used that media to try to destroy Trump personally and our great republic along with him.
Seven days a week, Donald Trump is doing what a President should. He is working for every one of us to make this country and our futures bright once again. Think how much easier that job would be if everyone, including the Left, were working together to pull the wagon up the shining hill instead of pushing it down.
