When it comes to trying to evaluate or explain human behavior, it is not the time to resort to generalizations. It is not beneficial to stereotype, as that immediately discredits any of your observations, determinations, or opinions. But when it comes to Liberals or Democrats, I am starting to agree with Donald Trump when he just boldly says, “these people are crazy.” I am a Trump fan and believe he will be judged as the most transformative and effective, pro-American President, certainly of our lifetime, but I do have a problem when he resorts to name-calling or demeaning characterizations of the opposition. I do not think it is presidential, nor does it add to the argument, but in the case of his assessment of the Left, he is spot-on. These people have lost their way, and they are crazy, but worse, they are crazy in their desire to destroy America.
How else do you explain the concept of open borders? This idea alone discredits you as a patriot or even a clear thinker. When you can disavow our sovereignty, tear down our border protection, and allow millions of unvetted strangers, regardless of their ethnicity, political beliefs, or ideology, you no longer recognize America as a country. You have sacrificed your right to make decisions on behalf of those of us who still see this country as unique, a special place to live, and the greatest country ever developed in the history of man. Is it perfect? Absolutely not, nothing is. Does it have problems still to solve? Absolutely, just ask any homeless person in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or any of the other greatest and wealthiest cities in the country, or any of the millions of students who will “graduate” from high school and yet cannot read, do basic math, or are prepared to compete in our society. The basic difference between the Left and me is that I think I won the lottery to be an American, and the Left sees Somalia as a better place to live. That constitutes you as crazy.
Yesterday was the third King Day in a year held by the Left to protest Donald Trump and to spread the belief that Trump governs like a king or worse, that he is the reincarnation of Adolf Hitler, the most heinous individual who ever walked on earth, and who killed over 6 million human beings in an effort to cleanse the human race. This thinking shows you have no basic understanding of history, no understanding of having a president who loves this country and is not a politician, no political beliefs or alternate solutions, and are driven every day by the pure hatred of a man that you also cannot explain. You are lazy and incapable of formulating your own thoughts and opinions, resort to spoon-fed talking points, and are, in a word, crazy.
I will admit that this is an opinion I happen to share with our President. Still, it is a belief reinforced by the Left’s actions over the last decade, beginning with Donald Trump and his wife, Melania’s descent on the golden elevator and into the White House. Whatever it was about that moment, it caused half of the country to turn on the man who had been their hero when he uttered the words, “You’re fired,” on TV, but who now triggered their hatred by proclaiming he would “Make America Great Again.”
I could spend hours documenting the litany of ways that Trump has made decisions that have corrected bad policy or made the lives of every American better, but that would be preaching to the choir on the Right and simply white noise to anyone on the Left. People on the Left do not want to hear the words, try to understand them, or defend their alternate position, which can be summed up in one word: hatred. When your thinking is based solely on emotion and not logic, you have already lost the argument. What is amazing, and sad simultaneously, is that major influencers like the media, the entertainment industry, or worse, educators have collaborated in this effort to dumb down the Left, disseminate irrational hatred, and divide this country in an effort to destroy the greatest experiment in global politics. They have gotten half the country to take the lazy way out, and rather than look at ways to better themselves and take advantage of the plethora of opportunities this country affords, they would rather stand on bridges or city streets on a beautiful Saturday in spring, holding handmade signs trying to convince the other half that being crazy is the ticket to a better life.
