Dethroning No King Day III

I have had a chance to step back and look at the recent version of No King Day in America and to make some observations beyond the emotions of disgust and disdain that I felt for the event and participants last week. Unfortunately, I still have those emotions, but I have added sadness and disappointment to the mix. The folks who gathered with their handmade signs or those supplied by the numerous groups that funded and organized this event were the same folks who protested in their teenage years against the Vietnam War. Except this time around, they brought their grandchildren along for the learning experience and future training. I envision that many of these people were retired educators, only because I cannot see business people holding signs calling for a Communist overthrow of the system that gave them the opportunities for success, as did America.

No, the people who are enticed to waste a beautiful and precious Saturday, holding signs calling Trump Hitler and Maduro a victim, are the same misguided and easily influenced throng who manned our classrooms for the last 50 years. Had they cracked a history book in all those years instead of failing our children, they might see the horror in calling anyone Hitler. They might know the evil that lived in that man and how no individual should ever be compared to him, but not these folks, for they are proud Liberals who live on emotion and rarely on facts. Today, they are fueled by the hatred of our President, Donald Trump, not because they can give you a solid reason for their angst, but because they are told to by the likes of Bernie Sanders and Randi Weingarten, or worse, has-been celebrities Robert DeNiro and Bruce Springsteen. I always get a kick out of watching Weingarten lose control and start screaming at the crowd as if the louder you are, the more effective you are. I wonder if she screamed at her students, but there is an irony to Weingarten. If she were to venture into Iran, not just to protest, but just to be there, she would stand a good chance of being led to the nearest rooftop and thrown off to her death. For that is how they treat homosexuals in the Middle East. In America, she is protected so she can scream and protest. American labor leader, attorney, and educator who has served since 2008 as president of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), an affiliate of the AFL–CIO. Does anyone see the irony and conflict in the fact that she was also a recent member of the DNC? I digress, but Weingarten and the AFT are stains on our education system that fail half of our children, but teach them to protest. She is the King that these people should be protesting.

I saw a split screen as an older man was explaining that he and his fellow protestors were of the party of love and the rule of law as a younger man, wearing a mask, painted “Kill Your Local ICE Agent” on the wall of a federal building. So much for love and law! There were signs praising Iran and Venezuela, but these ignorant fools don’t realize that there is a good chance they would be shot dead on the streets if they ever pulled a gathering like this together in Tehran or Caracas?

I mentioned earlier about the organizers and funders of the No King III rally. This was in no way an organic grassroots protest. This day was planned and funded.  The demonstrations were largely coordinated by Indivisible, a Democratic political advocacy group, along with the 50501 Movement. The network reportedly includes groups funded by Neville Roy Singham, a China-based American businessman, and organizations linked to billionaire George Soros. The protests were reportedly organized by a coalition of over 300 to 500 groups, bringing in over $3 billion in revenue. The protests involved over 3,000 rallies, with organizers claiming a record turnout of 8 million people.

No Kings III brought out the masses, but it will have a short lifespan of impact, which is why they need to repeat the process. It is an event long on rhetoric and short on a foundation of truth, so it will dissolve quickly until they find the next Trump policy to protest. Trump will give it to them, and they will be unable to comprehend its benefit to the country, so they will take to the streets, calling for a Communist revolution, not having a clue what they are wishing for.
