One of the most striking things about which I still can’t quite wrap my head around is the fact that Democrats mean exactly the opposite of what they say, yet people take them at their word.
The case of the Trump lawfare is the most obvious of all the cases, since the mantra was that “nobody is above the law.” What law they were referring to exactly was never clear–Trump’s “felonies” are based on no predicate that anybody can exactly explain except through handwaving–but nobody is above it.
The lawfare all began with a hoax–or series of hoaxes–that the Steele Dossier was a real thing. No serious person actually believed that, and we have absolute, ironclad proof based on actual memos and documents that all the major players involved knew that they were pushing a lie and opening national security investigations based on a lie.
We have absolute proof that the FBI lied to the FISA court to get warrants against a man they knew to be innocent, and that they committed fraud after fraud to push falsehoods. We know–through text messages, emails, lover’s discussions, and quotes from the Presidential Daily Brief and documents from the CIA and FBI that a fraud was perpetrated on the Court, Congress, and the American people.

And we know that the highest-level officials illegally leaked secret documents based on falsehoods to the press. Several major players committed actual perjury.
And now they are calling all the solid evidence a hoax, while denying they ever claimed things, even though we have them on video saying them.
We have verifiable evidence, often in their own words, of people committing felonies. They had the Steele Dossier, which the FBI and CIA privately acknowledged was bunk. And yet they are winning the PR war in the media.
Brennan and Comey provably committed multiple crimes, and all indications are that the Justice Department will initiate investigations and prosecutions based on that evidence. That may lead to these “nobodies” not being above the law, but I doubt it.

If there is anything that we have learned over the past decade, it is that crime pays if you are at the top of the pyramid. The higher you are in the elite, the more you can get away with and get rewarded by others in the elite. Hillary Clinton violated so many national security and government document retention laws that she could have gone to prison for a thousand lifetimes.
Instead, she was nominated for president and, even after losing, is an enormously wealthy woman, feted by all the Best™ people.

McCabe, Brennan, Mayorkas, and Comey–all truly evil men and provable lawbreakers–are living the high life and are treated like royalty by the Democrats. They appear on MSNBC to slander the president–the man they committed crimes to destroy–and their word is solid gold to those people.
We can all take some solace that a measure of justice may be done–the receipts dropped in public and perhaps some legal maneuvering–but I am skeptical that they will pay any real price and that there will be any real deterrence.
The elite protects its own, and no level of criminality or debauchery is punished. Hunter Biden, for instance, is on a media tour discussing what he would do as president.
I wish I had better news, but I will believe that justice will be done only after I see it, and even then, we know that some white knight will come save the malefactors at some point.
These people have caused so much damage–not quite Fauci-level damage, but in the ballpark–and they will enjoy the same benefits Fauci has. Fame, fortune, and respect.
