The Democrats have two problems that are making a disaster of their messaging program. John Fetterman has become the prize for almost any network for his common-sense sound bites that are making a mockery of Democratic stances, particularly their criticism of President Donald Trump. Fetterman is calling out his fellow Party members and accusing most of allowing their Trump Derangement Syndrome to cloud their reasoning and distort their decisions. Fetterman is putting his country over his Party and probably sacrificing his political future. The Party will never let him win an election in the future. Switching party affiliation is the only path forward for John Fetterman.
The other voice that leadership cannot control, because she cannot control it herself, is Nancy Pelosi. Nancy is on her lame-duck swan-song tour, and she wants to show the world that she is still in control of the Capitol. Forget the Emirates label, Nancy is still calling the shots, and with hands flailing, she is telling the media and the world what her plans are before she departs. Let’s be brutally honest. There is nothing on her agenda to improve the lives of the American people. Her agenda is one-dimensional, focusing on the power of the Democratic Party and on securing its hold on Washington and the country. As she told CNN this week, she will not only pick up the three seats necessary to put the gavel back in the hands of Hakeem Jeffries, but will gain 30 seats so the Republicans never see the majority again.
She made it quite clear that Democrats will embark on a vendetta campaign to conduct hearings, press charges, prosecute, and jail as many members of Donald Trump’s administration and circle as possible. The Democrats will quickly undo every executive order and policy decision executed by Trump that has not been codified by Congress. Her Party will return America to the Biden era and put her back on track for the destruction the Democrats envision and crave. They will destroy the filibuster and pack the Court. They will eliminate all restrictions on voting rights. They will do whatever is necessary to render the Constitution useless and replace it with the Democrat Rule of Order. It is not to be confused with the rule of law, as there is nothing legal about a movement to secure the Democrats’ power position and eliminate the two-party system.
The two hard-line stands that Democrats have taken this week show how little they are concerned for the well-being of Americans and the wishes of their constituents. As the government shutdown continues at its record-setting pace, the Democrats continue to refuse to fund DHS until they get significant changes to ICE. ICE is funded, so the shutdown has little effect on the ongoing deportation of criminals let in by Biden and Harris. But the Democrats are striving to neuter the authority of ICE by holding all of the other factions of DHS unfunded. TSA, along with some other agencies, is expected to report to work even though they are not receiving paychecks. Air traffic controllers, Border Patrol agents, law enforcement officers, and active-duty military are among those expected to work without pay. The American people are not only being inconvenienced by long lines, excessive wait times, and cancelled flights, but staffing shortages are also compromising their safety. The other issue Democrats are holding the line on is Voter ID. Even though over 80% of all voters want to see voting laws strengthened, the Democrats know that tighter voting restrictions will hinder their chances of maintaining office. That continued power is far more important than the wishes of the American public.
We see what is happening in the short time the Socialist Mamdani has been mayor of New York City. Think about the impact of Socialist control of every big city in America. It is happening, and endorsed by the Democratic Party. Pelosi, Schumer, Jeffries, Newsom, Pritzker, and all of their disciples must be stopped. We can put an end to the destruction of our country, but only if we cut off the head of the snake.
